A paper developed in the SAFIRE project titled "Value-based manufacturing optimisation in serverless clouds for Industry 4.0" was presented at the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO) at Kyoto, Japan in July 2018. GECCO is the premier conference in the area of genetic and evolutionary computation. Topics include genetic algorithms, genetic programming, evolution strategies, evolutionary programming, memetic algorithms, hyper-heuristics, real-world applications, evolutionary machine learning, evolvable hardware, artificial life, adaptive behaviour, ant colony optimization, swarm intelligence, biological applications, evolutionary robotics, coevolution, artificial immune systems and more.

GECCO is the main annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Genetic and Evolutionary Computation (SIGEVO), which is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The accepted version of the paper can be found here. The slideset from the presentation can be found here.
